vom Kervinshof provides training programs made available to our customers. We only take a limited number of dogs for the training season, usually no more than six. Each dog is given the utmost personal attention to bring out their hunting potential rather than kennel a multitude of dogs giving each one limited time. Proven German training methods are the foundation of all training exercises and skill development. A deposit is required to reserve one of the limited kennel training spaces. Every dog entering the kennel area must be on leash with current vaccinations.

Obedience Course: A non obedient dog is a problem for everyone. Obedience is the foundation of all training and is the most overlooked area by the majority of hunter/trainers. Pre-Season Tune Up: Is designed for the trained dog in need of pre-hunting conditioning.

German Hunting Tests: VJP Natural Ability test, HZP Fall Breed Test, VGP Master Test for the Versatile working dog.

Hunting Dog Course: Training for the multipurpose hunting dog. Basic training for pups as young as six months. This training emphasizes basic pointing and retrieving skills including intensive obedience and exposure to various hunting terrain including fields, forest and water. Advanced training usually begins after one hunting season and builds on the basic level moving into extensive bird work and steadiness.
