Vom Kervinshof kennel is located near Elgin, Oklahoma and borders Lake Ellsworth.. We are located in the heart of the old Kiowa, Comanche, and Apache Reservation near the picturesque Wichita Mountains. Ft. Sill is the military installation where Geronimo, Big Tree, White Bear, Quahnah Parker and other legendary Indian leaders were imprisoned. Jesse and Frank James were frequent visitors to the area and legend has it they left of cache of buried gold in the foothills surrounding the Wichita's. This area is rich in Wild West history and many site seeing opportunities are enjoyed by customers visiting our kennel.


State of the Art Kennels:

Vom Kervinshof now sports a brand new kennel and a 40 acre fenced training facility. We have access to over 5,000 acres of fields, meadows, ponds, coves and a lake that augments our training and hunting needs. Our modern 2000 square foot kennel includes concrete floors, sewer drains, direct lighting and comfortable housing for our dogs. This insures each dog a secure, clean and health environment. Our 3 acre training yard provides each dog with the opportunity to leave the kennel and run, romp and exercise daily. Our dogs are fed a well balanced diet and provided the exercise that is critical to the health and well being of any working dog. We maintain health records on each dog and litter with current vaccinations.

It has taken a great deal of effort and expense to assemble the superior breeding stock we have at vom Kervinshof. Therefore, we have provided excellent facilities to birth our litters and house our dogs. When you purchase a pup or trained dog from our kennel it has come from the best environment possible. When you are investigating the purchase of a hunting dog whether is be a puppy or trained dog I would suggest you look closely at the facility it comes from. I would not think a pen in the backyard or a litter whelped in the garage constitutes a kennel or breeding program. The initial price to purchase a puppy or trained dog is the least expensive part of the process. The expense comes after the purchase and it is certainly in your best interest to buy a quality dog that comes from an established breeder with excellent facilities.
